A phone connection is available for internet options. There is also a huge covered entertaining deck off the lounge area, with an outdoor setting & BBQ for you to enjoy some alfresco meals.

A 7 minute drive will find you in the heart of Byron Bay, or a short walk will find you at the local shopping village with a choice of restaurants, bakery & general food supplies catered for along with a great family pub.

Sleeps a max of 4 adults and 4 children, this is an ideal family house.

Nestled in rainforest gardens this Balinese pavilion style retreat feels like an exotic tropical oasis .

This 4 bedroom Balinese pavilion style house backs onto a nature reserve and cycle path making it only a few minutes walk to Byron. The living and sleeping pavilions are connected by an elevated timber outdoor walkway giving the home a resort feel. The open plan living pavilion comprises a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances, timber flooring and coconut bench tops, as well as an entertainment area with LCD TV and relaxed seating. Following on from the lounge area there is a covered deck with barbecue and daybed.

Walking through the covered walkway, you discover the 4 bedrooms and bathrooms. Each bedroom is only accessible from the external deck and have natural cooling breezes flowing in from outside through louvered windows. The master bathroom has an ensuite with spa. A second bathroom is accessible from the front of the sleeping pavilion.

The house is finished with sculptures imported from Bali that are interspersed throughout the house.

The living area flows out to the entertaining deck and to the stunning pool, complete with Balinese barong. The master bedroom has a private deck leading out into the gardens and pool area connecting to an en-suite with a double spa set amongst the tropical gardens. There are another 2 bedrooms and study in the main part of the house and 2 additional bedrooms downstairs, accessed by exterior stairs, one with en-suite. One of the bedrooms also has a second independent Austar connection with DVD which is a great facility to keep the kids entertained.

There is a large well equipped gourmet kitchen and separate dinning area, with Wi-fi and phone connections available for internet options. This property can be let as 2 apartments or a whole house. The upstairs 2 bedroom duplex has an expansive living area that flows out through huge sliding doors to the deck and that fantastic view that you can't get away from. The open plan living area and kitchen are expansive with seating for 6; timber floors throughout and an entertainment area with Austar/DVD/TV & Stereo. There is also a nice chill out area in the rear courtyard with gas BBQ & shady areas for when you get tired of that view.

The bedrooms are fully air conditioned with views from master bed to the bay and doors opening onto the verandah. Linen is supplied but you do need to bring your beach towels.

The Upstairs area has a connecting stairwell to downstairs which is not gated off so is unsuitable for small children.

The downstairs duplex is an ideal beach pad for 2 people. The living area is open plan with kitchen & dining, main bedroom has those great views across the bay & air conditioning. Linen is supplied.

A short walk across the road and around the corner will find you on the beach at The Pass, a 15-20 minute walk will find you in the centre of Byron.

Absolute Beachfront in Belongil
China's Place is a newly renovated timber beach house. An easy walk down the steps onto the sand and into the ocean or watch the sunset at the rear of the garden. (Please note, after the high storms during May 2009, the sand is finally coming back and one can walk along the beach to town at low tide once again).
The main bedroom upstairs has a king bed, ensuite, and looks out into the tree canopy and opens onto a tree deck (This is the only room in the property that has access to internet access). There is another bedroom upstairs which looks right at the waves of the Pacific Ocean. This room has a TV and queen bed but no ensuite. The two secondary bedrooms are downstairs and have no outlook.

Have an outdoor shower in the tropical garden or bath for two under the stars which sits in the deck overlooking the sea. Choose one of the 4 outdoor eating areas. The house also has cable TV, DVD, Ipod station, ping pong table, laundry facilities and a dishwasher. Walk 5 minutes to 2 local cafes or 20 minutes along the beach into the heart of Byron Bay.

A caretaker lives underneath the house in a granny flat but your privacy is assured. Chinas Place is a non smoking house.
