Splendour in the Grass will return to warm up your winter to make it the 9th annual festival. Australia's much loved festival event will feature a real feast of musical treasures from around the globe. Talent includes Coldplay, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Moby, Brian Wilson and many, many more.

Splendour in the Grass will take place at Belongil Fields on Sat July 25th and Sun 26th, 2009.

The two-day annual event accommodates 17,500 people who party for the weekend to a mix of rock, hip hop, electronic and alternative beats from both international and national artists, whilst also featuring local arts and crafts, creative performances and cuisine. From humble beginnings in 2001 this is now a leading experience for music lovers.

In past years Splendour in the Grass tickets have sold out in advance, often within hours of going on sale – all tickets to last year’s festival were snapped up in just 5 hours, while the preceding three years’ events sold out in a little over a day.

Accommodation for the Splendour in the Grass go-ers sell out a little slower than the tickets but sell quickly none-the-less. Byron Bay Accom has all accommodation types in all locations.
