FEHVA
A Great Event for a Great Cause!!
This year’s FEHVA will not only be celebrating the visual arts but it will be staging two concerts as part of the eight day event. Opening night is on Monday May 26 at The Bangalow A & I Hall and will welcome you to the FEHVA exhibition of art 2008 with the highlight being a magical performance of Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Gershwin by the patron of The Buttery. David Helfgott. His special guests will be Scarlett Affection, The Buttery Choir and young solo performer Bryn Jenke. Artists and musos Reg Mombassa and Peter ODoherty will be special guests on stage with an acoustic set at the FEHVA art auction and banquet which is being held on Thursday May 29. They will then return to the stage on Saturday May 31 with their band Dog Trumpet to get the FEHVA weekend of panel discussions really rocking. Proceeds are directed to the Buttery, a theraputic community for those seeking recovery from addiction, so come along for some fun and support a worthwhile cause.
