SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS MOVING TO WOODFORD 2010
Splendour in the Grass will be heading north for the winter to Woodford for its 10th annual festival. Australia's much loved festival event will feature a real feast of musical treasures from around the globe.
Splendour in the Grass will take place at Woodford on July 30th and August 1st, 2010.
The two-day annual event accommodates 17,500 people who party for the weekend to a mix of rock, hip hop, electronic and alternative beats from both international and national artists, whilst also featuring local arts and crafts, creative performances and cuisine. From humble beginnings in 2001 this is now a world leading experience for music lovers.
In past years Splendour in the Grass tickets have sold out in advance, often within hours of going on sale. This year Festival organisers have set up a ticket resale systems whereby anyone who buys a ticket but can’t go can resell it on the website - you’ll still need to be quick, as demand for tickets is very high.
The festival are hoping to return to Byronshire for the 2011 festival.
