Palace Cinema Byron Bay

One of the best ways to stay dry is to indulge in a blockbuster or two! At Palace Byron Bay in the centre of town, enjoy a full entertainment experience in luxurious surrounds. The nine cinemas are fully licensed so you can take advantage of the curated drinks menu, including local Byron shire craft beers, premium wines and classic cocktails.

Take a class

Byron Bay is known as a hub for wellness and creativity - why not take the opportunity to learn a new skill during your stay? Take advantage of world leading yoga studios, and find some zen for an hour or two. Or if you prefer to flex your creative muscle, sign up for a pottery class or painting class during your stay.

Chase a waterfall

Waterfalls love rain! With so many in the region, it’s the perfect time to get out and explore a few. The largest is Minyon Falls - about 35 minutes from Byron via a pretty scenic rainforest drive. On the way back to town, pop into Killen Falls, or for those wanting to venture a little further, Protestor’s Falls is an easy walk through ancient World Heritage listed rainforest.

Shopping

Byron Bay is home to a plethora of sustainable, local and artisan brands - it would be a shame not to take home a souvenir or two. Wander around town centre and find local fashion brands including Spell, Nagnata and Auguste. Make your way to the nearby Arts and Industry Estate and explore Habitat lifestyle precinct for homewares, fashion and great food.
