Hottest new dining in Byron Bay

Byron Bay continually proves to be one of Australia’s hottest dining destinations - a combination of exceptional local produce and world class chefs being lured by the lifestyle on offer, means that we have new options to choose from almost every week. Here are some of the best new options in 2025.

Three Blue Ducks have taken the reins at one of the region’s favourite pubs, The Hotel Brunswick, delivering high quality pub grub with a view of the beautiful Brunswick River.  Enjoy a stay at South Beach House, conveniently located just across the river.

For a South American vibe in the heart of Byron, check out newly opened Roca Byron Bay. Think all day Latin-fusion food, delicious cocktails and South American wines.

Baloney’s Deli just near the solar train station is a fun new addition to the casual dining scene.Check out their awesome New York style sandwiches and stand up espresso bar.

The Beach Hotel (or beachy to the locals) has been a long cherished Byron institution. The Shack is their new bar offering a distinctly coastal menu, refreshing cocktails and a laid back Byron vibe.

Whilst we were sad to see the closure recently of fine dining institution, Harvest at Newrybar, it’s exciting to welcome newcomers The Providore Newrybar, filling the demand for fresh local produce and artisan coffee.

Finally, the hottest table in town this Summer has definitely been the at Byron BayOyster Bar, a stylish newly opened fine diner with a focus on quality oysters and seafood.
